HoverTech International is a leader in innovative patient transfer and repositioning systems. In 2013, they wanted DDA to update their website design with a new look to attract potential customers without disrupting the current flow and functionality for their existing customers. In addition to the front-end redesign, HoverTech needed a more robust Customer Relations Management (CRM) system to facilitate the administration of their growing database of customers on the back-end of their online operations. As one of the leading providers of professional website redesign and redevelopment, DDA was ready to take on the challenge.
Few firms have the scope of technical and design skills to implement HoverTech International’s front-to-back online specifications, but DDA is uniquely situated to carry out the mission effectively, both in the initial launch and the ongoing and convenient maintenance of the site over time. This integrated multimedia approach keeps costs down and delivers a professional production value others can’t match. HoverTech needed a user-friendly website design with the widest possible outreach. Responsive website design ensures optimum performance of the website on every device. A set of new and dynamic videos demonstrating HoverTech’s innovative inflatable patient transfer device would show the products in action, and vividly convey their marked improvement over existing equipment and methods. Finally, the ambitious CRM system would have to handle the needs of administrators, sales representative, and both prospective and existing customers.
DDA worked closely with HoverTech to achieve a comprehensive redesign that incorporates their existing brand identity with product listings and clinical environment tabs for more navigation options. Product resources include manuals, brochures, relevant articles, and more. New forms like Product Satisfaction Surveys, Customer Service Satisfaction Surveys, and Requests for Information enhanced and improved online information gathering capabilities.
The new and exciting video content DDA developed became a focal point for the website redesign, and these new clips have been incorporated into many of Hovertech’s pages to reinforce the compelling features of HoverTech’s innovative mobile transport equipment. Separate videos demonstrate the setup and preparation of the equipment as well as enactments of the unit in different situations, with the use of professional spokespersons and layered text to augment the information.
The back-end CRM system was structured to have three different accounts for administrators, sales representatives, and customers, with three different types of account access. Administrators can readily share files to manage information and assign sales representatives to territories defined by zip codes. Full access to performance reports and the ability to create, send, and edit email campaigns and newsletters through WYSIWYG editors give administrators more ways to track performance and maintain their marketing efforts. Sales representatives can track customer interest by viewing leads and scheduling meetings. Customers can set up a customized product resource center, and everyone can view the video content.
